Ambassadors for Climate Resilience Program

Program Overview

This paid program supports young professionals (18+ years) in northeast Illinois in promoting climate resilience and sustainability  to increase access to leadership, solutions, and resources. Ambassadors lead equitable engagement, education, and research in their communities.

Ambassador Experience

• One-on-one career and education guidance from climate  leaders

• Monthly virtual and in-person learning sessions

• Outreach and education at virtual and in-person events

• Connect with local organizations and leaders working with the Global Youth Biodiversity Network, Young Professionals for Agricultural Development, Latino Outdoors, and more!

Program Structure

• Program length: February–June and August-December

• Honorarium: $15/hour

• Time commitment: 6 hours/month
